Accommodation Guide >>>

RoomFinderScotland has taken every care in publishing the information available on this website. We try to ensure that it is current and accurate and, in so doing, we are acting in good faith. We will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or damage of any sort caused as a result of inaccurate data. Please take a moment to review our Terms and Conditions

Users are asked to note that bookings for accommodation are, in legal terms, contracts entered into between the two parties concerned - ie the person making the booking and the accommodation provider - and that RoomFinderScotland can take no part in this process, other than to act as an information provider. You are strongly advised to confirm prices with the accommodation provider before making your booking, whether by phone or in writing, and RoomFinderScotland can take no responsibility for any dispute or misunderstanding arising from this process.

We need to remind users that while email is certainly a convenient way to communicate, it isn't always secure. We would strongly advise against, for example, sending credit card details by email. If you are making payment by card then you should ensure it's done via an encrypted https connection - your browser should indicate this to you.

Also, credit cards provide more security than debit cards in the case of disputes and/or fraud. Paypal is another option offering a secure payment method as your card details are not disclosed.

We are keen to ensure that both our users and our clients are treated with courtesy and are dealt with fairly. If demonstrable examples of unacceptable business practice come to our attention, we reserve the right to remove listings at our discretion. We also reserve to right to edit or remove any listing which contains offensive, racist or inflammatory material.

In short, we are doing our best to see that users of this site have access to the information they seek and that our clients have the facility to promote their businesses in a fair and equitable manner.

Online Bookings

Please note that online bookings - where available - may be made through our partners Late Rooms and Where this happens, the contract is one between them and the person making the booking. RoomFinderScotland plays no part in this process, other than acting as a facilitator, and any disputes must be raised between the two parties concerned. Choosing the Book Online option transfers you to the Late rooms or website and your request is passed to them for processing through secure servers; we take no further part in the transaction.

As stated above, we cannot guarantee that the prices quoted on our website are always accurate and they are provided for guidance only. Any online booking contract is based on the prices quoted by Late rooms or and in many cases they may be able to offer discounted rates.
