THE OLD LAUNDRY is a stunning detached home recently converted from the original laundry which is located in the grounds of Strichen House. Accomodation includes three double bedrooms including an en-suite on the ground floor. An open plan living/ kitchen dining area with ample dining and seating. The Old Laundry is finished to a very high standard with solid oak flooring, oak doors, granite work surfaces and a gas fired AGA range. This beautiful holiday home is ideal for the perfect break.
BRIDGE COTTAGE is a charming large 2 bed mid terraced cottage sleeping up to 6 people. This accommodation consists of two large bedrooms with 1 x double and 2 x singles + 1 x double/ twin. This also has a south facing rear enclosed garden laid in lawn and shrubs. Bridge Cottage is situated in the historic 18th Century village of Strichen in Aberdeenshire. Ideal for family, walking, cycling or just to enjoy village life.

Strichen House is within 1 mile of the historic 18th century planned village of Strichen on the banks of the River Ugie. The village boasts a beautiful award winning park with walks and lake. There are also 2 shops, butcher, chemist and several pubs serving fine ales and food.

The new owners, Ian and Elaine Grubb have made the Guest House a home from home having newly refurbished all rooms with ensuites, TV and tea/coffee making facilities.

Greenbrae Farmhouse is a 19th Century Farmhouse extended to provide comfortable ground floor bed and breakfast accommodation. In the 2004 and 2005 Aberdeen & Grampian Northern Lights Tourism Awards, Greenbrae Farmhouse received a highly commended certificate in the Visitor Experience category.
A warm welcome awaits you at this rural retreat. You will be greeted with refreshments on your arrival that you can take in the sun room, which has extensive views over the rolling Buchan countryside. In your room you will find a hospitality tray with a wide variety of teas, coffee, hot choclate and home made biscuits.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9.00 or earlier if you wish, when you can sample fresh eggs from our own hens. A healthy, low fat, three-course evening meal can be provided on request using fresh, local ingredients wherever possible. Most of the vegetables are fresh from the fields via "veg in a box" more and more are from Greenbrae's own garden. Evening meals available by arrangement.
Our library is at your disposal and contains a wide selection of books, maps, local information and a reference section to help you identify the wildlife you will encounter. From Greenbrae you will be able to explore Banff & Buchan the "Hidden Corner" of North East Scotland. There are plenty of castles to visit. The Whisky distilleries of Speyside are within easy driving distance. The coast has miles of golden beaches, dramatic cliffs and picturesque fishing villages. There are many golf courses, including one in Longside itself and the famous Cruden Bay course within easy reach. Art galleries include Duff house within which Jack Vettriano exhibits. Museums range from the prehistory Archaeolink to Aden Country Park working farm.
