We have spent four years fully renovating this 200yr old farm steading and have tried to keep the character of the original building reclaiming materials such as old wooden beams, roof slates and natural stone.
Set in 2-acres of land overlooking Ruthven Barracks, which has floodlighting at night, and adjacent to the RSPB Bird Reserve with the Bird Hide less than 1 mile away. We offer a quiet location 233m above sea level with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and countryside.
Only 2hrs drive north of Edinburgh, 40 minutes south of Inverness and within easy reach of castles, distilleries, lochs, golf courses, mountains, all types of sports, bird watching and wildlife.
Kingussie railway station is 3/4 mile away and we can easily collect you and return you, if you want to leave the car at home.

Allt Gynack is situated at the West End of Kingussie High Street next to the River Gynack. Set in its own grounds, it has a residents' private car park at the rear. We are Dog Friendly.
We have 5 comfortable bedrooms. We have 1 double bedroom with en-suite and 2 single bedrooms also en-suite. We also have 1 double/family room and 1 twin bedded room both with standard facilities (including bathrobes). These two bedrooms share a full bathroom and also have an extra separate WC, it is also possible to book one of these rooms with a private bathroom, please telephone for details.

Benula is a traditional Scottish Victorian stone house, with sleeping accommodation for up to 8 adults. There are four bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite shower room, two twins and a single. A sofabed is available in the study/family room. Well behaved pets can be accepted. Electric heating is included in the cost and there is an open fire. The large kitchen is fully equipped and there is a separate dining room.
Benula is in a sunny location on the high ground to the north of Kingussie near the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It sits in its own grounds and there are fields behind with a footpath giving access to woodland walks. The golf course is a short wal away. There is ample off-street parking and skis or mountain bikes can be kept in a lockable shed.
Kingussie is one of the larger villages in the Cairngorms National Park. It has coffee shops, restaurants and take-aways catering for all tastes. All of these are within easy walking distance if you need a night off from self catering. There are many recreational activities in the Park including walking, skiing, sailing, golf, pony trekking, mountain biking, fishing or visiting the many family attractions such as the Highland Folk Museum.

This provides self-catering accommodation for up to six people. The cottage comprises two bedrooms, lounge, dining/kitchen and fully fitted kitchen. It has everything you will need for a self-catering break. Open fire (with extra heating of course, for when it's really cold), shower room and drying room with use of washer and drier. The level paving to front and rear, plus an additional downstairs 3/4 bed off the lounge affords some disabled access.
The cottage comes fully furnished with everything you may need during your self-catering stay. Coire Mor is a traditional converted bungalow style five bedroomed home located in the small village of Kingussie, about 15 miles from Aviemore. Able to accommodate eleven adults comfortably, there is scope for increased numbers when travelling with small children. It has full central heating and double glazing.
There are five bedrooms; one double, one twin, one triple (singles), one family (double and single) and one single with cot. There are two bathrooms.
The kitchen is fully equipped and amongst the usual appliances, you will find plenty of crockery, utensils, a dishwasher and a microwave. The dining table can comfortably seat 8 adults, whilst still offering ample preparation space for catering.
The living room is open plan with the kitchen/dining area. It has patio doors to the decked area surrounding the front of the property, for spectacular views of the Cairngorms. There is a television, video and DVD player, and an ipod speaker system.
There are two outhouses, one contains a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. This is our utilty room. It has ample storage for sports equipment and can be used to hang wet sports clothing. The second outhouse contains a fridge/freezer, sun loungers and bicycles for use during your stay. There is also storage room here for your own sports equipment.
Decking surrounds the front of the property, offering privacy and spectacular views across the valley. It is entirely enclosed for safety reasons.
