Discover Fairburn Lodge in the Scottish Highlands and enjoy a marvellous woodland setting overlooking the beautiful and tranquil Strathconon Glen, west of Muir of Ord.
Fairburn Lodge offers a wide range of outdoor activities on and off site, as well as the chance to explore the surrounding countryside.
All fourteen bedrooms have TV, tea and coffee making facilities and en-suite bathrooms with shower and Jacuzzi bath. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor for easy access to disabled visitors.
Also on the ground floor are the licensed dining room and residents lounge. There is a small sauna for use by residential guests.
As well as on and off site outdoor activities, Fairburn Lodge and Activity Centre caters for corporate team building and management events.
Excellent catering and meeting facilities are available for residential or one day conference events.

Set in the peaceful grounds of Mackenzie House with views across the Peffery Valley, and only a few minutes walk to the pretty village centre of Strathpeffer, Mackenzie Lodge has comfortable rooms that are bright and airy.
The all level access accommodation comprises -
The entrance hallway has plenty of room for coats & boots. On the left is the large kitchen with views of the Peffery Valley. There is an extending dining table for up to 6 seated, a microwave, electric hob cooker and double fan oven, fridge and freezer and plenty of cupboard space. Adjacent to the kitchen is the shower room with toilet and washbasin. Recently redecorated, it is spacious enough to easily accommodate a wheelchair and the shower cubicle has a seat suitable for the less able along with handrails by the toilet. Next is the utility room with washing machine, ironing board, vacuum and BBQ. The hallway to the right leads to the three bright bedrooms: 1 double, 1 twin, 1 single and then to the lounge with its lovely solid beech flooring and access to the small private garden area. Colour TV, DVD, CD/radio.

An Darach is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of the small village of Contin, close to the charming Victorian spa town of Strathpeffer. Contin has a church, two hotel restaurants, a convenience store, garage and petrol station.
The bedrooms are comfortable and welcoming and overlook the garden and woods beyond. Bedroom 1 has good quality twin beds which can be linked together to make a super-king size bed, if required. Bedroom 2 has a very comfortable king size bed.
There are easy chairs, a flat screen TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, radio/alarm clock, hair drier and electric blankets in both rooms. The en-suite shower rooms are equipped with shaver points, large fluffy white towels and good quality toiletries.
We also have a guest lounge and dining room. There is a large garden with ample off-road parking and secure storage for cycles, motorcycles and sports equipment.
The house lies in a delightful woodland setting near to the A835, the main route from Inverness to Ullapool and the North West, making it an ideal base for touring the breathtaking splendour of the northern Highlands and Islands.

Wendy Coli warmly welcomes you to the Tiree House Bed & Breakfast establishment based in Urray, close to Muir of Ord in the Highlands of Scotland. This is the perfect base to discover Ross-shire, Wester-Ross, Cromarty, Sutherland and Inverness-shire.
The Towns of Strathpeffer and Dingwall are close by and the City of Inverness is around twenty minutes drive away. Also to the west is the very popular village of Ullapool with a regular ferry service to Stornoway, Isle of Lewis.
Tiree House offers a choice of two bedrooms, both with double and single bed, both bedrooms have en-suite shower and toilet. All the rooms are equipped with tea/coffee making facilities. There is also a private lounge area with a TV. Guests are welcome to come and go via their own entrance.
Tiree House is a non smoking establishment and has no facilities to accommodate pets.

Birch Lodge is a comfortable, modern house situated in a quiet area of the unique village of Strathpeffer.
We have a choice of a double/family room or twin room. The spacious family room has an adjoining bathroom with bath and shower cubicle. The twin room has an en-suite shower room.
Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in both rooms as is digital television and free wireless internet access.
There is off-street parking for cars and a secure garage for bicycles.
You will have a key to the house and your room to allow you to come and go as you please.
Breakfast is served in the dining gallery between 7:45 to 8:45, or earlier by arrangement.

Fodderty Lodge, originally built as a country manse in 1730, stands in its own grounds midway between Dingwall and the Victorian spa village of Strathpeffer in the heart of Mackenzie Country.
Honeysuckle Cottage is a traditional Highland cottage and sleeps up to 6. Kitchen/diner, sitting room, ground floor double bedroom with en-suite shower and lavatory, ground floor bathroom with electric shower, 2 attic bedrooms (one double, the other twin). Washer/dryer. Radio/CD. DVD.

The Cottage offers every modern comfort for guests but still boasts many of the original features. High hedges border the long garden to the front and side of the property to ensure privacy.
Inside The Cottage there is a sun lounge furnished with high quality cane furniture, leading to the spacious lounge/dining room with 3 piece suite, dining table and chairs, colour television and video recorder.
There are 2 bedrooms - 1 twin and 1 double. An additional chair bed and a cot are available for the use of children.
The bathroom has a modern suite with shower attachment over the bath. The well equipped kitchen comprises electric cooker, microwave oven, pine dining table and 4 chairs. The utility room houses the washer/dryer and fridge/freezer.

We have two self catering holiday lodges - Eagle & Otter Lodges. They are Scandinavian style cabins built in a woodland setting, amidst Forestry Commission land on the edge of the picturesque Victorian Spa village of Strathpeffer. Each lodge is double glazed and sleeps 4 people, with one double bedroom and one twin bedded room.
The lounge is large with an open plan kitchenette and pine dining table. The bathroom includes washbasin, bath, toilet, heated towel rail and shaver point. French doors lead to a covered balcony, garden furniture is provided for your use.
There is ample private car parking at the Lodges, although vehicular access to each lodge is not possible. Eagle lodge is reached by path and is approximately 50 yards from the car park. Otter lodge is reached by path down a slight slope and is approximately 75 yards from the car park.
Strathpeffer has a number of grand Victorian Hotels, most of which offer evening dinner to non-residents, and it also has a selection of village shops including a, small supermarket & off-license (open until 8:00pm every evening), grocer, butcher, newsagent, chemist, craft-shop and tea-rooms.
