Our lovely home is less than 1/2 mile from Prestwick International Airport and 2 minutes walk from railway station. We are in a very quiet street 200 metres from the beach and Prestwick Old Course. Prestwick main street is a leisurely stroll where you will find a variety of good eating places and cafe bars.
Our double room has a super king size bed.
We can arrange pick up or drop off at the airport if required at no extra cost.

The Hollies bed and breakfast is an elegant Victorian house, located 10 mins walk from Glasgow/Prestwick Airport and 2 mins walk from Prestwick train station. The house has been lovingly modernised retaining many original Victorian features. For the golfer, we are just 2 minutes walk away from Prestwick Old Course - the birthplace of the Bristish Open Golf Championship - and minutes away from many other spectacular golf courses, such as Royal Troon, Lochgreen, St Nicholas, and Turnberry, to name a few. Tee-off times can be arranged upon request.
For families, we are just minutes from a beautiful sandy beach with wonderful views out towards the Isle of Arran. Just 15 minutes drive away we have Loudoun Theme Park and Heads of Ayr Farm Experience, plus many wonderful castles to explore and discover.

The Barrels is a warm and friendly family run Bed & Breakfast offering first class en-suite accommodation. Situated in the quiet picturesque Ayrshire village of Monkton right on the edge of Glasgow Prestwick International Airport, our location is very central to all the major transport links for the area and beyond with Ayr, Prestwick, Troon, Irvine and Kilmarnock all in close proximity and Glasgow only being 30 minutes away by car. In addition we are just 10 minutes from P&O's Troon Ferry Terminal which operates services between Troon and Northern Ireland.
Our facilities consist of three double rooms including one family room, each with its own en-suite. Each room also has colour TV and tea & coffee facilities. There is also the dining room where a choice of either a traditional breakfast or a continental breakfast can be enjoyed! The building also has parking spaces for guests and is fully compliant with all Local Authority & Government Health & Safety legislation. Please note that we operate a non smoking policy.

Located immediately opposite Prestwick Golf Club are three purpose-built cottages for those wishing self-catering accommodation.
Rates are for 1 week, normally Saturday to Saturday and for a maximum of 4 guests per cottage. Completed in May 2004, each cottage has a bedroom with two single beds, a lounge with a sofa that can convert into a double-bed, fully- equipped kitchen and bathroom/wc.
Small pets by prior arrangement only. All light, heat and linen included. Washing machine and tumble drier available for the use of guests at a small charge. Seasonal and longer stay rates on application.
Cottage guests may relax on the decking, where smoking is permitted.

Our accommodation is situated in Monkton, a picturesque village yet only 3 minutes drive from Prestwick Airport and our twin cottages date from the 18th century.
The original B&B 'The Wee Hoosie' was created in no.33 but demand for accommodation led us to create an annexe in our own home no.35 which we called 'The Captains Cabin. The 2 rooms are very different in appearance and even have separate seating areas in the garden.
THE WEE HOOSIE is a traditional cottage with a double bedded room plus an adjoining living room exclusive to Wee Hoosie guests which boasts a comfy settee, TV, CD player and optional log fire. Breakfast is served on the large oak table and tea/coffee making facilities are always available in the adjacent kitchen.
THE CAPTAINS CABIN is so called as like on board ship it combines all the facilites of daily life in one compact area with the aid of modern technolgy. There are 2 full size bunk beds, a comfy settee which converts into a bed plus mini fridge TV & Video and tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the cabin on specially designed TV style tables.

A warm welcome awaits you in this well equipped cottage situated to the rear of the owner's own property. It enjoys an enviable position with the local park immediately behind us offering an indoor swimming pool, tennis centre, bowling club, cricket grounds, swing park and play areas etc.
The building itself dates back over 100 years and was originally the stable block of our traditional sandstone home but inside, it offers all the comfort and conveniences of a modern home.
There are two bedrooms – one with a double bed and the other with a smaller three quarter bed. There is a well presented fully tiled bathroom situated between the two bedrooms with three piece suite and power shower over the bath.
The living room with kitchen area is one large bright room furnished with a double bed settee (ideal for additional or occasional guests) lounge chairs and tables and colour TV. The kitchen area has been refurbished and now includes integrated appliances - cooker, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge and freezer - and lots of cupboard space and a bistro style breakfasting table and chairs,
Double glazing and central heating for the colder weather and ceiling fans for the hot summer days all add to making this cottage a place that you will want to return to.
Parking spaces are available beside the property.
We are within a few minutes walk to Prestwick Main Street with a fine selection of shops, restaurants and eating places. The railway station, beach, promenade, local golf courses are close by and Prestwick International Airport is approximately 1 mile from the cottage.

The Appletree Bed and Breakfast is located in the town of Prestwick, Ayrshire. Prestwick Airport is within walking distance (2km), the railway station is only 1km away. Prestwick town centre is only five minutes walk and Ayr town centre is easily reached by public transport.
Many sporting facilities are located within 500m of the B&B and these include swimming pool, two fitness centres, cricket, tennis and indoor bowls facilities. Prestwick seafront is only five minutes walk from the B&B and is ideal for those wishing to enjoy a gentle walk or early morning run. There are 5K and 10K running routes starting from near the B&B that do not involve the crossing of any main roads.
Prestwick town centre is a gentle five minutes stroll and is the home of many small independent shops and has an excellent range of cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes at a range of affordable prices.
A takeaway breakfast is available for those leaving on early flights etc. We have a travel cot and high chair and welcome children. Arrival can be any time after 15:30, checkout by 10:30 is appreciated. We may be able to accommodate luggage storage or earlier arrival times depending on room availability.
