A warm welcome awaits you at the Craigieburn Guest House. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful sea views. Pets are more than welcome. The proprietors of the Craigeburn are Dutch. We are looking forward to your visit to Dunoon and your stay at the Craigieburn Guesthouse. Dunoon is a wonderful wee village on the banks of the Firth of Clyde with lots of possibilities: walking, cycling, golf, watersports, sailing... too many to mention them all.
The Craigieburn Guest House is situated between spectacular mountains and the Clyde. Conveniently located near the town center and with a splendid, unobstructed view over the river; this is the hub of Cowal which allows access to all wind directions in the west of Scotland.
All rooms have a TV, spacious closets, bath robes, coffee and tea making facilities and a washing basin with running hot and cold water. The choice of rooms: single room, double room or family room (1 double and 1 single bed).
Breakfast will be served in the morning between 8am and 9am but we are flexible, so if you require an earlier or later breakfast, please advise us so we can arrange it.
Breakfast service is cooked to order. Continental or full Scottish can be arranged with quality bacon and sausages. Cereals, juice, coffee and tea are available in the cosy dining room which has a view over the Firth of Clyde.

Undercliff Bed and Breakfast is situated right on the front at Hunters Quay, next to Dunoon in Cowal, Argyll.
We have five rooms – two double with a sea view, and three twin with a garden view. All rooms are en-suite and have 32? flat screen TV, a hospitality tray and free WiFI access.
There is a residents’ lounge and balcony on the first floor to sit and enjoy the views and read awhile.
A full Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room. We cater for all requirements and dietary needs, including vegetarian.
We are 400 meters from the Western Ferries and about 2 miles from the town centre and Argyll Ferries. We are on the main bus routes and taxis are also available.
There is ample parking at Undercliff. We also offer an anchorage at in front of the house.
Smoking is permitted in the grounds and on the balcony.

Foxbank is run by Ronnie and Lawther Murchison, situated on the promenade at Hunter's Quay, very close to the ferry terminal, and approximately 2 miles from Dunoon pier.
The front rooms have wonderful views of the River Clyde. There are tea making facilities in the rooms and TV and hairdryers are provided.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9am but we are flexible if other times are required. A full Scottish breakfast is served and dietary alternatives available. Home made breads and preserves are served.
Please make it known when booking if there is any dietary requirement we can arrange for you, for example wheat free breads, gluten free or vegetarian can be catered for.
There are two hotels for excellent evening meals within walking distance.
Having been in the hospitality business for more than 30 years, Lawther knows the benefit of supper therefore provides a 'wee treat' of home baking to enjoy with your bedtime 'cuppa' - scones, gingerbread and other tempting home made goodies!
There is ample parking in the garden, and garaging for motor/push bikes. Bikers and walkers appreciate the drying facility, although we wish you all good weather!!
Lawther is an associate member of TFIC and offers Colour Analysis to her guests, a wonderful way to spend a wet afternoon. Educational and fun. Guests' price is £65.00 per person.

Hafton Castle is a magnificent building located in Hunter's Quay, just outside Dunoon with views across Holy Loch. The Castle is set in its own delightful gardens and has a large heated indoor swimming pool. (Please note that the price quoted does not include the heating and use of the pool – there is an additional charge of £500 per week for this.
The bedrooms are comfortable and all have en-suite showers. The building has some magnificent features, beautiful ceilings, carved doors and a superb staircase.
Hafton Castle is a superb house with its wonderful indoor pool, and numerous spacious public rooms. There is a large reception hall, dining room, large drawing room with bar area which opens into a small drawing room, library, billiard room, toy room, spacious conservatory and lots of outdoor space with a terrace and gardens, in fact plenty of space for the large number of people it sleeps. The splendid reception hall has numerous seats, wood-burner and a grand piano and would be the perfect place for a wedding ceremony. The nineteen bedrooms are comfortable and all have en-suite shower.
The large drawing room with bar area opens into the small drawing room to make one very large room which is perfect for Wedding Receptions, parties or any other gathering. Music can be arranged for any evening of your stay, classical, traditional scottish music or a ceilidh.
There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing, fishing and quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering and has a castle and museum.
Both Hafton Castle and the grounds are licensed for Civil Ceremonies.

The Snug self-catering is a cosy, detached holiday cottage just a moment's stroll from the beach, and ideally situated for exploring Dunoon, the Cowal peninsula and the beautiful countryside of Argyll.
The cottage has a bright, open-plan living space with fitted kitchen and sitting area on the upper floor, from which there are lovely sea views. Dunoon itself is a beautiful coastal town, on the Cowal Peninsula, at the the mouth of the Firth of Clyde. Accessible by road or by ferry from Gourock on it's hundred year old pier, Dunoon has a rich history along with many interesting sights and activities. For example, the annual Cowal Highland Games attracts over 3000 competitors, not to mention an additional 20,000 visitors!

Rosscairn is a small family run Victorian house hotel, strictly non-smoking, with the emphasis on peace and tranquility. With only seven bedrooms guests can always be assured of our personal attention, that's why so many return, as friends, year upon year. Vaila Guest House is run by the owners Myra and John, who like to give personal attention so you have a good stay. We are situated on the main road being within walking distance of all amenities. There are two supermarkets, five restaurants, six public houses, a cinema and swimming pool plus the sea prominade within five minutes walk.
The wing of the house that has a double and twin room with a shared bathroom is ideal for families and friends. We do not have televisions in the rooms but instead have a large residents' lounge with 32 inch TV.
Breakfast is cooked to order so may take a few minutes longer to prepare. Though eating in the rooms is not allowed, we gladly set up the dining room and provide plates, glasses and so on if guests wish to have a carry out meal in the evening. Each room has tea and coffee facilities, a hair dryer and clock radio.
We will provide ironing facilities etc. We are very motorbike friendly having an area to charge any radio helmets, and have off-road parking.
Myra and John are happiest when our guests are happy; therefore we will always go that we bit extra. Come and enjoy yourself.

Firthview House is a spacious semi-detached house with 7 rooms including 4 ensuite bedrooms and capacity for 8 persons, and Lyall Cottage is an attached cottage with 4 rooms and capacity for 4 persons.
