Holiday Lodges - 2 and 3 bedrooms
All lodges are bungalow style and set in mature landscaped grounds. Parking by the lodge. Rowan Lodge: two bedrooms, a double and a twin. Pine Lodge: same as the Rowan Lodge but with an extra en-suite shower & WC. Beech Lodge: three bedrooms, a double, twin and a bunk room. Kitchen. Lounge, dining area. Shower & WC. Oak Lodge: same as the Beech lodge with the exception that the bunk room has an extra bed so the occupancy is 7.
Holiday Caravans - 2 and 3 bedrooms:-
Modern, comfortable holiday homes located on Jura Village - conveniently close to the Dolphin Leisure Centre, mini market and serviced laundry. Winterised with extra insulation to walls, floor and ceiling - suitable for all year use, double glazed windows and doors, gas combi central heating. Cots replace one of the twin beds so a cot is part of the total occupancy.

A warm welcome awaits you at the Craigieburn Guest House. Enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful sea views. Pets are more than welcome. The proprietors of the Craigeburn are Dutch. We are looking forward to your visit to Dunoon and your stay at the Craigieburn Guesthouse. Dunoon is a wonderful wee village on the banks of the Firth of Clyde with lots of possibilities: walking, cycling, golf, watersports, sailing... too many to mention them all.
The Craigieburn Guest House is situated between spectacular mountains and the Clyde. Conveniently located near the town center and with a splendid, unobstructed view over the river; this is the hub of Cowal which allows access to all wind directions in the west of Scotland.
All rooms have a TV, spacious closets, bath robes, coffee and tea making facilities and a washing basin with running hot and cold water. The choice of rooms: single room, double room or family room (1 double and 1 single bed).
Breakfast will be served in the morning between 8am and 9am but we are flexible, so if you require an earlier or later breakfast, please advise us so we can arrange it.
Breakfast service is cooked to order. Continental or full Scottish can be arranged with quality bacon and sausages. Cereals, juice, coffee and tea are available in the cosy dining room which has a view over the Firth of Clyde.

Hafton Castle is a magnificent building located in Hunter's Quay, just outside Dunoon with views across Holy Loch. The Castle is set in its own delightful gardens and has a large heated indoor swimming pool. (Please note that the price quoted does not include the heating and use of the pool – there is an additional charge of £500 per week for this.
The bedrooms are comfortable and all have en-suite showers. The building has some magnificent features, beautiful ceilings, carved doors and a superb staircase.
Hafton Castle is a superb house with its wonderful indoor pool, and numerous spacious public rooms. There is a large reception hall, dining room, large drawing room with bar area which opens into a small drawing room, library, billiard room, toy room, spacious conservatory and lots of outdoor space with a terrace and gardens, in fact plenty of space for the large number of people it sleeps. The splendid reception hall has numerous seats, wood-burner and a grand piano and would be the perfect place for a wedding ceremony. The nineteen bedrooms are comfortable and all have en-suite shower.
The large drawing room with bar area opens into the small drawing room to make one very large room which is perfect for Wedding Receptions, parties or any other gathering. Music can be arranged for any evening of your stay, classical, traditional scottish music or a ceilidh.
There are many local activities, golf, swimming, clay pigeon shooting, sailing, fishing and quad biking to name but a few. Dunoon itself is the home of the Cowal Highland Gathering and has a castle and museum.
The Castle also offers bed and breakfast accommodation at the following rates

Rosscairn is a small family run Victorian house hotel, strictly non-smoking, with the emphasis on peace and tranquility. With only seven bedrooms guests can always be assured of our personal attention, that's why so many return, as friends, year upon year. The hotel is situated within large mature gardens with ample private parking, in a quiet residential area of Kirn which is approximately one and a half miles from the centre of Dunoon.
Our quiet well-appointed en-suite bedrooms are tastefully decorated and all have tea / coffee facilities and radio alarms. Most offer spectacular views over the golf course to the Cowal Hills.
Our bright spacious dining room overlooks the adjacent Cowal golf course and surrounding hills. Delicious meals are prepared using the finest local produce, including fresh Scottish beef, fish and vegetables. Vegetarian and special diets are catered for with imagination.
We offer a choice of menu which changes daily and our evening dinner consists of four courses plus coffee. For breakfast choose from the range of continental to full traditional. We have chosen to be an unlicensed hotel, much to the delight of our returning guests who often provide their own wine.
We regret that in the interest of hygiene pets are not allowed.

Clyde View is a tastefully restored Bed & Breakfast home from home, with its beautiful loch side view and a friendly Highland Hospitality welcome. The nearest town is Dunoon again several miles south, and the town has a varied choice of restaurants, cafes and shopping.
For your comfort all rooms are centrally heated and equipped with television and hospitality tea and coffee tray. Marion and Harry have extensive local knowledge of the local and wider area attractions for you to visit during your stay.

Duncreggan House, originally a mid 19th-century manor house, has been tastefully restored. Set above the village of Blairmore it has panoramic views of Loch Long, the Firth of Clyde and in the distance the Arrochar Alps. It has loch and mountain views from most of the rooms in the house.
The house has 6 bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms and 2 additional shower rooms plus a family bathroom, a lounge, dining room and fully fitted country kitchen with electric and calor gas cookers, dishwasher, laundry and large eating area. It is fully double-glazed and has oil fired central heating.
The house is surrounded by over an acre of ground. The mature garden used to be a nature trail and has many trees and shrubs, there is a small burn and waterfall – it is a paradise.

Firthview House is a spacious semi-detached house with 7 rooms including 4 ensuite bedrooms and capacity for 8 persons, and Lyall Cottage is an attached cottage with 4 rooms and capacity for 4 persons.
Both have gas central heating, sea-views, and independent access, while Firthview House also has disabled access and one ground-floor bedroom. Discounts are usually available for weekly lets with fewer occupants;

Foxbank is run by Ronnie and Lawther Murchison, situated on the promenade at Hunter's Quay, very close to the ferry terminal, and approximately 2 miles from Dunoon pier.
The front rooms have wonderful views of the River Clyde. There are tea making facilities in the rooms and TV and hairdryers are provided.
Breakfast is served between 7.30 and 9am but we are flexible if other times are required. A full Scottish breakfast is served and dietary alternatives available. Home made breads and preserves are served.
Please make it known when booking if there is any dietary requirement we can arrange for you, for example wheat free breads, gluten free or vegetarian can be catered for.
There are two hotels for excellent evening meals within walking distance.
Having been in the hospitality business for more than 30 years, Lawther knows the benefit of supper therefore provides a 'wee treat' of home baking to enjoy with your bedtime 'cuppa' - scones, gingerbread and other tempting home made goodies!
There is ample parking in the garden, and garaging for motor/push bikes. Bikers and walkers appreciate the drying facility, although we wish you all good weather!!
Lawther is an associate member of TFIC and offers Colour Analysis to her guests, a wonderful way to spend a wet afternoon. Educational and fun. Guests' price is £65.00 per person.

A warm and friendly welcome awaits guests at the Royal Marine, an attractive, award winning hotel with many original features.
The Royal Marine Hotel is set amongst the stunning Argyllshire scenery at the seaward gateway to Scotland's first National Park yet within easy travelling distance of cosmopolitan Glasgow.
The hotel has 41 bedrooms, 31 in the main building and 10 in the adjacent Lodge. Bedrooms are all well equipped and range from cosy singles through to premier sea view rooms with four poster or sleigh beds providing a choice for every budget.

Ardeer Bed & Breakfast is situated on the west coast of Scotland in Innellan on the Cowal Peninsula in Argyll and Bute. The property boasts spectacular views over the Firth of Clyde.
Ardeer Bed & Breakfast is a family run business and guests are assured of a warm and friendly welcome from John and Theresa Burton, coupled with a comfortable stay in one of the tastefully decorated bedrooms all with magnificent views of the Clyde.
Each of the bedrooms provides guests with their own private facilities including - en-suite bathroom, television, radio, hairdryer and complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits. Travel cots are available if required. Guests also have the free use of the Guest Lounge, where they will have access to another TV and a selection of games.
Internet access can be made available upon request. There is also a private car park to the front of Ardeer for guest use.
Guest bedrooms and the guest lounge are situated on the 1st floor and access is only by stairs.

The Snug self-catering is a cosy, detached holiday cottage just a moment's stroll from the beach, and ideally situated for exploring Dunoon, the Cowal peninsula and the beautiful countryside of Argyll.
The property was completed in 2004 and comprises a bright, open-plan living space with fitted kitchen and sitting area (with sofa bed)on the upper floor, from which there are lovely sea views. On the ground floor there is a good-sized double bedroom and bathroom.
The Snug is located in Innellan, a small village just 4 miles south of Dunoon, on the Cowal peninsula. Dunoon has been a popular tourist area for over 100 years and is an ideal base for exploring the lochs and hills of Cowal, as well as the many lovely towns and villages of Argyll.
Pets by prior arrangement. Children most welcome (travel cot, high-chair and stair gate available).
Only an hour from Glasgow, yet a world away - The Snug is the perfect getaway, whether you’ve a fortnight or just a weekend to spare.

Dunoon itself is a beautiful coastal town, on the Cowal Peninsula, at the the mouth of the Firth of Clyde. Accessible by road or by ferry from Gourock on it's hundred year old pier, Dunoon has a rich history along with many interesting sights and activities. For example, the annual Cowal Highland Games attracts over 3000 competitors, not to mention an additional 20,000 visitors!
