Out and About: |
|
|
Being in the east of the country, the Kingdom of Fife is generally drier and warmer than many other parts. As well as having treasures all of its own, good road and rail links links make it an ideal base for exploring other areas such as Dundee, Perth and Edinburgh; all of which are within easy reach. Tourist attractions include a number of coastal villages such as Aberdour, Crail, Elie and Anstruther among others. St Andrews, of course, has its own character and charm. The North Sea Cycle Route passes through the region and the newly developed Fife Coastal Path is popular with both locals and visitors.
